This term in Class 5 we have been looking at food in the context of healthy eating. We are learning to touch and taste new foods, as well as learn some new vocabulary for fruit and vegetables.
Every Friday Class 5 have been busy preparing their own snack and learning some new life-skills. So far we have made sandwiches, breakfast, pizza and pasta. We also practise setting the table and washing the dishes after we are finished. Everyone is encouraged to try new foods and we always discuss what is healthy and unhealthy for our bodies.
