Year 10 Trip to Belfast
Our Year 10  pupils really enjoyed their tour of our capital city.  This trip enhanced our topic work on Northern Ireland and our capital city.  Pupils will also produce a recount of the trip in English.  One of the highlights for pupils was Stormont Buildings.  The weather was also kind to us.

Post 16 Woodhall Trip
Post 16 went to Woodhall Outdoor Pursuits Centre for two nights in October. They had a fabulous time and received certificates of from the centre. These we presented in assembly. Well done to all the pupils who joined in fully and impressed everyone.

Toyota Fund for a Better Tomorrow
Castle Tower School would like to say a huge thank you to Curtis Toyota who have awarded our school £875.00 through their Toyota Fund for A Better Tomorrow scheme. Pupils are very excited to develop further projects within our beautiful new environment through growing herbs, vegetables, plants and flowers.

Year 11 Planetarium Trip
Year 11 are currently studying Space Science as part of their ELQ Qualification. They visited the planetarium in Armagh to learn as much as they could about space travel, the life of an astronaut, the solar system, making and launching rockets and much more. STEM Engineering Competition
Four pupils from Castle Tower School came 2nd in a STEM engineering competition organised by the Rotary Club Northern Ireland in partnership with Sentinus. Year 10 Science Class
Year 10 are currently learning about plants and photosynthesis. They were testing leaves for starch in class, and found that this is a good time of the year to find leaves full of food. These pictures show them carrying out their investigations.
