Some pupils from a range of classes were extremely lucky to be chosen to take part in a project organised by Causeway Coast And Glens Heritage Trust in conjunction with Scullion Hurls, Loughgiel.
The project is part of the Economusee Craft Reach Scheme which involves artisans from Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Faro Islands, Sweden and Ireland.
Michael Scullion brought some of his finest ash hurling sticks, which he made in his workshop to the art room and local artist Joanne Campbell joined Mrs O Connor, Carole O Kane CCAGHT and Tierna Mc Allister CCAGHT along with some very talented pupils to paint these with a Christmas theme.
Our Lord Mayor Mrs Audrey Wales popped in to join in the fun also. The amazing results will be on display at Scullion Hurls during December for all to see. A very big thanks to all the fantastic pupils who took part.
