From September 2010, Castle Tower School will provide pre-school educational provision. This will enable pupils to be assessed at an early stage and ensure the most appropriate structures are put in place to aid their development. A member of staff also teaches pre-school children from within the NEELB in their homes. In addition a Toy Library operates at the Loughan Campus, through which parents/carers can borrow toys. The toy library sessions not only provide young children with opportunities to develop pre-school skills, but offers support and advice to parents/carers.
